<야크와 나>는 야크와 여자가 번갈아 등장하는, 정체를 알 수 없는 루프 릴스로부터 출발해 삶의 비선형적 서사 구조를 추적하는 투채널 비디오이다. 침대, 사과, 손가락, 가위 등 일상적 사물들의 이미지는 삶의 특정 구간마다 미묘하게 변형되며 반복해서 개입하는데, 이것이 매번 다른 서사적 파편인 텍스트와 맞물려 비스듬한 나선형의 새로운 루프로 이어진다. 투채널 비디오 외에 동명의 소설로도 쓰였으며, 2025년 대산문학창작기금을 수혜하고, 2026년 격월지 Axt65호에 수록되었다.
〈Yak and
Me〉は、ヤクと女性が交互に登場する、正体の定かでないループ状のリール映像から出発し、人生の非線形的な叙事構造を追跡するImziziの二チャンネル・ビデオ作品である。ベッド、リンゴ、指、はさみといった日常的な事物のイメージは、人生の特定の局面ごとに微妙に変形されながら反復的に介入し、そのたびに異なる物語的断片であるテクストと結びつき、斜めの螺旋を描く新たなループへと連なっていく。

Yak and Me is a two-channel video work by Imzizi that begins with an indeterminate looping reel in which a yak and a woman appear alternately, tracing a non-linear narrative structure of life. Images of everyday objects—such as a bed, an apple, a finger, and scissors—recur with subtle variations at different moments, intervening repeatedly. Each time, they intersect with distinct fragments of text, forming oblique, spiral-like loops that generate new narrative continuities. In addition to the two-channel video, the work was also written as a novel of the same title. It received support from the Daesan Foundation for Literature in 2025 and was published in the bimonthly magazine Axt, issue 65, in 2026.
